Effective Date: October 2026
We collect only the information essential to create a safe collegiate network: your institutional email, birth date (used solely to compute your displayed age; your raw date of birth is never shared with other students), display name, photos, bio, interests, and branch.
We provide symmetric privacy: if you choose to hide your profile from a specific college (including your own), students from that college will never see you in Discovery, Likes, or Matches, and you will not see them.
All direct chat messages and incident evidence snapshots are encrypted using AES-256-GCM. Photos are stored in private cloud storage buckets with access restricted to short-lived signed URLs (1 hour lifetime).
When an incident report is filed, a snapshot of the last 20 shared conversation messages is cryptographically attached to the report for moderation review by authorized platform administrators only.
In Settings, you may trigger a full JSON export of all your stored platform data at any time, including your decrypted conversations, swipes, and account timestamps.
